Going to Hell and Back for Our Gold Star and Blue Star Families is a destination ride. We are all meeting in Hell Michigan for the 3rd annual fund raiser event. We are a donation ride there is no ride fee , every attendee receives a free ticket for "Door Prize" - register when you arrive in Hell, Michigan. If you look on the map literally All Roads Lead to Hell one way or the other. Some Might be quicker than others, some more scenic. If you're wondering how long it will take you to end up in Hell... It depends on where you're coming from. There are some great scenic back roads you can take with lots of curves and creeks and rivers down there. And yes last year it was very hot and dry in Hell. We will have tickets too that you can purchase for the door prizes ,cold refreshments once you arrive. We will also have patches and tee shirts available for a nominal fee. Sheri''s Embroidery will be there for your sewing needs We are a nonprofit event. All money raised goes to Military Families United which is a 501C3 national charity. Many of their volunteers will be there to assist running the activities. Look for the registration sign behind Screams Ice Cream, 4045 Patterson Lake Rd., Hell, MI. 48169. With our ride there are some designated starting points where volunteers will lead and you can join in and follow them. If you would like you may also get there on your own. If you would like to offer yourself to lead a group from a designated starting area let us know we would be glad to post that on the site map or you can do that yourself also. We will have lots of activities once you arrive. Yes there is a devil in Hell and if you choose you may get your picture taken with him too... There is a preacher there and they do some arm wrestling from time to time. We got to have the preacher to bless the bikes. We will have Motorcycle Rodeo Games that you can participate in for some nice trophies. Just park your bike and Get number for "Bike Show" Any Bike can win, 1st place Trophy from each voting groups. (Hell Volunteers, Event Attendees and Children 15yrs and under) This year we will be adding some children competitions with trophies also. We will have a balloon release to honor our fallen Heroes. Each Gold balloon carries the picture name and information of each Hero that has died. We also release red white and blue ones in Honor to all those still serving. It is a sight to see and once you have been there you will understand why this ride is so popular. After the balloon release we will give away all the door prizes. We had a great turn out last year, mark your calendar so you can make one of the Better Charity Rides in Michigan. ALL Gold Star and Blue Star Families are Welcome, each year more attend. We hope you can take a day to help us Honor our Heroes and their families.. We Hope to see you August 13th, 2011.
